HHS Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell has named new members to both the Health Information Technology Standards Committee and the Health Information Technology Policy Committee.

McNeil, a professor in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, founded Harvard’s healthcare policy department in 1988.

Inspector General found that Veterans Affairs used money allocated for medical services to build a suite of mHealth apps and enhance its electronic health record, in a preliminary and thus far unpublished report.
