Press Ganey Holdings has debuted the Nursing Performance Solution, a healthcare analytics tool that the IT vendor said is designed to provide nurse leaders and their teams with a comprehensive, single-source view of the factors most associated with driving nursing excellence – quality, patient experience and nursing engagement.

By generating focused data and insights across these performance domains, the new system can be an important tool to help healthcare organizations address strategic priorities and achieve high standards of excellence, the vendor said.

“Nurses are at the forefront of the mission to reduce suffering and deliver patient-centered care,” said Christy Dempsey, chief nursing officer at Press Ganey. “As the largest segment of the healthcare workforce, nurses have a significant impact on the patient experience and the success of the health system. The introduction of this solution reflects Press Ganey’s deep commitment to the nursing community and will further help organizations identify opportunities for achieving nursing excellence.”

The Nursing Performance Solution helps healthcare organizations, the vendor said, by: empowering nurse leaders with metrics and data sources, enabling advanced reporting to help improve key initiatives, and track performance for quality, engagement and patient experience.

The Nursing Performance Solution builds on Press Ganey’s other systems for patient experience, nurse engagement and NDNQI nursing sensitive quality indicators, the vendor added.
