Union Hospital's information technology staffers see themselves as part of something bigger than bytes and bits.

The Way-to-Go, or WTG, book, a compendium of compliments directed toward the IT department, keeps getting bigger and bigger at Washington Regional Medical Center.

"The neat thing about our IT department at Blessing is that we truly work with a sense of teamwork. We all work together to do what is right for our customers -- whether it is the patients or the clinicians," says Jessica Dalheim, information systems supervisor.

Union Hospital IT staff members don't just help clinicians and others use technology, they show them how to make the most of it.
