The Joint Commission has announced changes to its standards for diagnostic imaging, effective July 1, 2014. Additional requirements will be phased in by 2015. The standards changes relate to either quality and safety issues that were needed to more fully address the evolution of healthcare delivery practices.

The mHealth Alliance plans to transition its base of operations in 2014 from the United Nations Foundation in Washington, DC to South Africa.
