Philips unveiled an integrated suite of offerings which promises to revolutionize workflow in the radiology department by addressing the most pressing operational challenges across diagnostic and interventional radiology, at the RSNA 2020 virtual event.

The findings are based on a survey conducted from October to December 2020 from 17 countries.

In service since 2018, the Siriraj Mobile Stroke Unit has helped 380 stroke patients receive emergency medical treatment in Thailand so far.

The center operates on a 24 x 7 basis, and patients can either call in, email or reach out through social media platforms.

Although it was challenging, the virtual validation brought about opportunities for other hospital departments to participate and learn in the process.

The software can automatically mark potential lesions based on the use of AI to learn from endoscopic images of more than 10,000 lesions, as well as learning from the observations of expert physicians.

Under the partnership, both parties will collaborate to bring cross-border, virtual oncology telemedicine services to cancer patients in Mainland China, supported by a panel of Hong Kong oncology experts.
