Healthcare is a $4.9 trillion giant that recently overtook retail as the largest employment sector of the entire U.S. economy. Within this sector, artificial intelligence companies are vying for the limited attention of doctors. At the front of the line is the AI scribe space. It is explosive.
In this episode of HIMSSCast, we're going to discuss some of the results from a comprehensive survey on AI tools in clinician practices conducted by Freed in May and June of 2025. Respondents included physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other licensed practitioners.
Erez Druk, cofounder and CEO of Freed, digs into results on burden and burnout, how many physicians are using AI today, how they feel about the technology, common use cases, barriers to adoption, and more.
