Healthcare analytics and business intelligence provider PrecisionBI aligned with VitreosHealth to offer customized care insights through interactive visualizations and metrics.

With the new service, PrecisionBI intends to optimize performance across financial and clinical operations to help minimize the cost of at-risk patients.

Through the alliance, PrecisionBI clients looking to combine their cost data and their clinical and non-clinical data can get a complete picture of patient risk stratification for financial and clinical outcomes. The partnership allows PrecisionBI to address fee-for-service metrics, capitated metrics, as well as value-based care metrics for its users, PrecisionBI said in a statement.

The new service will also better identify at-risk patients and deliver prioritized clinical pathways for care management programs with the highest return on investment. This insight is particularly valuable as Accountable Care Organizations, Independent Physician Associations and Integrated Delivery Networks compete to provide improved patient outcomes.

The analysis provided through the new service will give PrecisionBI users actionable insights into their data to improve outcomes while driving down costs. This insight can benefit a variety of stake holders in an organization, including analytics teams, care management teams and ACO leadership teams.

“Partnering with VitreosHealth will allow PrecisionBI clients already leveraging our deep clinical and financial analytics the ability to identify patients that are not only high risk now, but will be within the next 12-18 months,” PrecisionBI executive vice president Jaime Ojeda said in a statement. Ojeda added that the service can help customers control costs and improve outcomes in the MACRA era.

Jay Reddy, CEO of VitreosHealth added that its “library of clinical and non-clinical risk models can be used for risk stratification, prioritization of gaps that really matter in impacting outcomes for each specific patient cohorts for care management interventions.”
