The Bronx RHIO (regional health information organization) has appointed a new executive director, Charles Scaglione. ADAMS Management Services Corporation has added Michael J. Romano to its staff as director - Advisory Services. Verisk Health, Inc., a healthcare data analytics firm, has appointed Nathan Gunn, MD, as chief medical officer. James M. Sweeney has been named chairman and CEO of IntelliDOT. Anna Slomovic joined Anakam, an authentication and identity management provider, as chief privacy officer.  Doug Petillo has joined Telagen, Inc.’s board of directors. Axolotl Corp. has appointed Anand Shroff as senior director of product management. Pamela J. Pure, executive vice president of McKesson and president of McKesson Technology Solutions, has left the company. McKesson Technology Solutions’ management team will continue to lead the businesses in the segment, including McKesson Provider Technologies, McKesson Health Solutions, RelayHealth and McKesson’s International Operations Group, and will report to McKesson Chairman and CEO John H. Hammergren on an interim basis. Surescripts has named Harry Totonis as president and chief executive officer. UCare has hired Robert G. Beauchamp as the organization’s chief information officer. Paul Tang, MD, chief medical information officer of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in California, a member of the editorial board of Healthcare IT News, and Marc Probst, CIO of Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, are among 13 members recently named to a new federal advisory committee on healthcare information technology. HealthWorldWeb, a Health 2.0 social networking, doctor search and doctor review site, has appointed Michael L. Millenson and J.D. Kleinke to its board of advisors. Passport Health Communications, Inc. has named Scott MacKenzie, previously with McKesson Corporation, to succeed Jim Lackey as chief executive officer. Lackey will remain chairman of the board of directors.  The Government Accountability Office has appointed Charles Kennedy, MD, vice president for Health Information Technology, WellPoint, to the Health Information Technology Policy Committee, a new advisory body established by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.The Children’s Hospital has appointed William N. Lindsay, III, to its board of directors.
