Main Line Health announced that it is implementing technology from Bernoulli to help with medical device integration as it transitions to an Epic EHR.
As part of the rollout, Main Line will deploy Bernoulli technology for medical device connectivity at its intensive care units, emergency departments, and neonatal intensive care units.
Bernoulli One, a vendor-neutral middleware platform, supports a range of medical devices and uses a standard HL7 interface and existing network infrastructure to share distributed data into a variety of interfaces and EHR systems.

Bernoulli Chief Nursing Officer Jeanne Venella said that Bernouli One will help Main Line Health reduce manual transcription, input errors and patient care disruption.
"The result is complete, accurate real time data as it is captured, enabling clinicians to work more efficiently and effectively to deliver superior patient care,” Venella said.
