Loopback Analytics on Thursday announced a free dashboard that hospitals can use to track post-acute care providers across regional care continuums.
The Loopback Geographic Analytics Dashboard taps into the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Five-Star Quality Rating System data and features ranking criteria, quality indicators and an interactive map.
Loopback said hospitals can use the software to determine which skilled nursing and home healthcare providers in their area to transition patients into based on the post acute-care facilities CMS rankings.

The company made the dashboard free-of-charge to enhance outcomes in the industry, Loopback CEO Neil Smiley said.
"While very valuable, the star rating system was not built to serve as the full picture of a given organization’s performance," Smiley said in a statement. "With our tool serving as an initial jumping off point, advanced data analytics fills in the rest of the story as groups consider key quality metrics such as readmission rates, length of stay and cost factors."
