Today is International Women's Day and the theme is #BeBoldForChange.
The event is celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the women's rights movement and this year the organizers are asking women everywhere to “call on the masses or call on yourself to help forge a better working world – a more gender inclusive world.”

The first official International Women’s Day was celebrated in 1909 on February 28 and it switched to March 8 in 1913.
