“It used to be that health IT was not a glamorous industry,” says JoAnn Klinedinst, vice president of professional development for HIMSS North America. “The pay wasn’t as good as corporate, the technology wasn’t as good. But folks have woken up.”
So has the health IT employment market, which offers a booming number of jobs to qualified candidates. The Career Services Center is one of many resources at HIMSS15 that helps both health IT job seekers and employers.

In addition, the Career Services Center will host ongoing educational sessions and introduce attendees to HIMSS JobMine, an online database of available health IT positions and employment candidates. Attendees can search for jobs or upload their resumes at the center.
